Fee Schedule
Residential
- Each household inside the city limits is provided one 95-gallon rollout container for household refuse.
- One additional rollout container may be purchased at cost upon request if a single container is not sufficient to contain the amount of refuse a household generates. Additional containers are subject to additional landfill fee charge.
Request Additional Rollout Container here. - Rollout containers are property of the city and are assigned to a specific property and shall not be removed from the assigned property. It is the responsibility of the householder to take proper care of the container. If a container is stolen or damaged from improper use or neglect, it shall be the responsibility of the owner or landlord to Request a Replacement Container provided by the city.
- Containers damaged during the normal collection service of the city should be reported to the Public Works Department.
- Containers are collected Monday through Thursday of each week on a scheduled route. View Pickup Route.
- Containers shall be placed at the curbside no later than 5:30 a.m. on the day of the scheduled pickup.
- Containers shall be removed from the curbside by midnight on the day of the scheduled pickup.
- Containers shall maintain a four feet clearance from any obstructions at the sides and rear.
- Refuse will not be collected where containers cannot be reached by city personnel without unlocking or opening a door, gate or similar obstacle, encountering a dog or otherwise being denied reasonable access by parked vehicles, yard tools and equipment or other similar objects.
- The following types of material shall not be deposited in the container: vehicle or motor parts, batteries, concrete blocks, tree stumps, wet paints, solvents or other flammable materials.
- All refuse shall be bagged prior to placement in the container. Refuse which is not inside the container will not be collected. It is the responsibility of the householder to pick up loose debris around the collection area.
- The city will not return to collect refuse after a street has been serviced.
Commercial

- The city may provide four-yard, six-yard or eight-yard front load dumpsters to be collected weekly, bi-weekly or multiple times per week. See our solid waste fees here.
Bulky Household Waste
Bulky Household Waste: Household items such as furnishings, appliances, mattresses, box springs, tires without rims, cardboard boxes, and similar household items. Does not include refrigerators and other appliances that may contain hazardous gas, tires on rims, building materials, batteries, cans containing liquefied paint, medical waste, hazardous waste, combustible waste or tree stumps.
Curbside: The strip of space on a property, parallel to a street, measured six feet perpendicular from the back of a curb or edge of street pavement if no curb exists. In the event a sidewalk is located within the six feet space described above and the space between the "on-street" edge of the sidewalk to curb or edge of payment is not adequate for the proper placement of bulky household waste, yard waste or bulky yard waste for city collection, the curbside area is allowed to be measured six feet from the "off-street" edge of the sidewalk.
- The city will collect bulky household waste placed either wholly or partially within the curbside area.
- Service is only provided for single-family and multi-family properties.
- Items shall be placed at curbside in a single pile.
- Pile size shall not exceed five feet in width, depth, or height.
- The cost for collection will be included on the customer's monthly utility bill.
- Items shall be placed at the curbside no earlier than the day preceding the scheduled day for rollout container pickup.
- Refrigerators and other appliances that may contain hazardous gas are required to be tagged following the removal of such gas by a qualified person prior to placing at the curbside. Doors on refrigerators and freezers must be removed or securely strapped closed prior to placing at the curbside.
- At no time shall bulky household waste be placed in a curb, street or sidewalk.
Yard Waste
Yard Waste: Accumulations of grass or shrubbery cuttings or clippings, bushes and limbs free of dirt and rocks. Does not include trees, logs, or limbs and branches larger than four inches in diameter and/or five feet in length.
Curbside: The strip of space on a property, parallel to a street, measured six feet perpendicular from the back of a curb or edge of street pavement if no curb exists. In the event a sidewalk is located within the six feet space described above and the space between the "on-street" edge of the sidewalk to curb or edge of payment is not adequate for the proper placement of bulky household waste, yard waste or bulky yard waste for city collection, the curbside area is allowed to be measured six feet from the "off-street" edge of the sidewalk.
- Yard waste shall be placed at curbside in a single pile.
- A single pile size not exceeding five feet in width, depth or height will be collected without charge.
- A maximum of two separate piles, not exceeding five feet in width, depth or height in size may be collected and the cost for providing such additional service shall be included on the customer's monthly utility bill.
- At no time shall yard waste be placed in a curb or street.
Bulky Yard Waste
Bulky Yard Waste: Any accumulation of tree or shrubbery cuttings or clippings exceeding four inches in diameter and/or five feet in length or any accumulation of yard waste, other than grass clippings or leaves, exceeding a single pile of five feet in width, depth or height. Accumulations consisting of more than two separate piles of yard waste of any pile size shall be considered bulky yard waste.

- The city may assist owners, tenants or lessees in removing bulky yard waste if approved by the Public Works Director.
- Service shall only be available to residential areas.
- Service shall be requested by contacting the Public Works Department.
- The city will provide a quote for cost of collection and removal.
- The owner, tenant or lessee shall agree to quote and pay amount in full prior to the city performing any work.
- Bulky yard waste shall be placed either wholly or partially within the curbside area.
- Bulky yard waste shall not be placed in the curbside area prior to full payment of quoted cost.
- At no time shall bulky yard waste be placed in a curb, street or sidewalk.
Dead Animals
- The city will collect dead animals weighing 75 pounds or less without charge during normal working hours.
- Service shall be requested by contacting the Public Works Department.
- Dead animals shall be placed at the curbside for collection.
- Owners or tenants are responsible for the removal of dead animals weighing more than 75 pounds.
